WIN helps Newtown families in need during Thanksgiving time. Adopted families receive everything they need for a Thanksgiving Dinner, additional everyday groceries, household needs and pet supplies for the holiday season. 

  WIN members assemble over 100 Easter baskets filled with candy, stuffed animals and goodies. These baskets are distributed to children within Newtown through social services and the Children's Adventure Center. 

 Each year WIN provides a scholarship through the Newtown Scholarship Association to a deserving female high school student who has excelled in community service. 

 WIN hosts a booth at the Lion's Pootatuck Duck Race each Memorial Day Weekend. We provide information about our organization and sell items as a fundraiser.

    WIN sponsors a Newtown family in need each holiday season. Food and gifts are bought and wrapped by members and delivered in time for the holidays. 

 WIN supports our Regional Hospice Chapter by sponsoring a table and attending their annual appreciation breakfast for the volunteers, caregivers and support services. 

  WIN participates in the Festival of Trees at Trinity Episcopal Church by donating a raffle item to benefit the Newtown Youth & Family Services.   

   WIN members provide individually wrapped baked goods for distribution at the Red Cross Blood Drives sponsored by the Newtown Lions Club.  

   WIN helps support other organizations in town, such as Trinity Episcopal Church's Great Pumpkin Challenge, that benefits the 'The Hole in the Wall Gang'.

WIN members volunteer with weeding and planting gardens and help with their events when opportunities present.

WIN helps collect candy to give to the residents of Main Street to hand out on Halloween to trick-or-treaters!
