Thanksgiving outreach

Send WIN an email using the contact form. The community appreciates any and all help during the holidays.

No, donors simply drop off their donation to the Community Center in the morning. The recipients will pick up their food in the afternoon.

Once you send WIN an email to let us know you are interested, we will send you a form to fill out about yourselves and level of donation you are comfortable with. We will then match you with a household that meets both needs. In early November you will receive a detailed list of exactly what to buy for the family. Delivery will be at the Community Center on Saturday, November 21st from 9-11am.

There will be no contact between donor and receiver.

The households in need fill out a form (scroll down to see picture below) of the supplies that they prefer. You will need to get those supplies checked off. You absolutely can go above and beyond and supply them with more if you so choose. Some donors have fun with it! For example, if there are kids they add a little toy or a manicure gift card. As long as the essentials are met, all the rest is is a bonus!

Yes! Feel free to let WIN know how many families you'd like to adopt for Thanksgiving.

There are households of one up to large families (6+ family members)! WIN tries to match donor budgets to household sizes.

You should hear from us shortly after November 6th - the deadline for households to sign up for the program through Human Services. Sometimes even more sign up after that and we will match you as they come in. So, hang in there! Feel free to contact us for more details or questions as they arise.
